When I need someone to talk to
And there is no one in view
I raise my eyes to heaven
And ask...God can I talk to you?

He has never once refused me
Always takes the time I need
To tell Him all my troubles
And then He always helps me

When these things of earthly worth
That can sometimes overwhelm me
He enfolds me in His loving arms
'Til nothing but His love I see

I love the blindfold He can put
Upon this earthly vision
To help me see the heavenly things
And make a clear decision

There's just no way at all
To compare the beauty there
With this earth and all it offers
Heaven's Shores so golden rare!

So when I take the time to talk to
The sweet Savior of my soul
I am always, greatly rewarded
He reassures me...He's in control!
