~ As You Bow Your Heads ~

As you bow your heads in thanks,
for families and for friends;
for the blessing of your bounty,
for joys that have no end.

Remember those who suffer,
the families with no homes.
Pray for love and mercy,
for those who stand alone.

Remember those who battle
in the fight for freedom’s voice,
who serve our nation proudly,
even though they had a choice.

Pray also for peace on earth,
that men may come to know
the love of our dear Father
and the blessings He bestows.

End your prayers with gratitude
to our Father up above,
for His tenderness and mercy,
for His sacrifice and love.
