Beauty of summer means grass so green,
Animals grazing the meadow can be seen.
Relaxing with a book under a large oak tree,
This is the beauty of summer for me.

Large white clouds floating across the sky
Bringing a song of happiness to my soul,
I feel that God has not been shy
Lending this beauty of summer to behold.

A handiwork of colors all across the land,
The beauty of summer is beyond compare,
Seeds scattered with God's lavish hand,
The beauty of summer He chose to share.

Now as the beauty of summer slips away
This beauty will return on another day.
God changes the seasons from above,
Beauty of summer will return with His love.
