~ In The Palm Of His Hands ~

Jesus hands are big and strong
And when you are close to Him
He holds you close
In the palm of His hands
For you are the ones He prays for,
A masterpiece, He understands

With those hands He carried His cross
To take all of our pain,
At three o'clock, He died for you and I
He took our place, and all our sorrow,
While we, like all His friends
Turned in disgrace and ran away.

It became very dark, God's heart was very sad
But, in three days, He arose from the grave
Now The Holy Spirit, in our soul can stay
So we will never deny Him or betray
In the palm of Jesus hands
We will always stay

To die for the world is the greatest love of all
He forgave us with His dying breath
He knew He won the victory
and passed the test
He gave His body and His blood
He gave for us His best

Our Lord Jesus gives to us His life
His divine love, pure and sweet
He hung by His hands for us
So from now until we leave this earth
In the palm of His hands
We will always trust

The people's poet

God our Savior revealed his kindness and love,
He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done,
but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins,
giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior.
Because of His grace he declared us righteous
and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.”
