~ Looking Beyond Tomorrow ~
The mists of my yesterdays,
still linger in my mind.
I race towards tomorrow,
but still I am confined.
I reach to find the sunlight,
to clear my tangled soul,
to end the pain and torment,
that keeps me less than whole.
And then I see a candle,
it’s light is pure and true,
it leads me to a clearing,
the sun is shining through.
I see You waiting for me,
I leave behind my sorrow
I bask in Heaven’s glory,
as I'm......
Looking beyond tomorrow.
