We come together today
For a moments silence,
To unite as one to pray
For all those hurting
And struggling
In the aftermath
Of the hurricane's sway.
Our hearts are with those
Who have lost loved ones
And homes,
And maybe feeling so alone.
Our prayers of intercession
Uplift all who struggle on with courage
The emergency teams,
Working around the clock
To re-build and restore
To heal and comfort,
May God comfort and strengthen
Each one the more.
