~ One Second ~

You never know what lies ahead,
One second can change your life,
The unexpected can suddenly happen
To anyone, any child, husband, wife.

A phone call with news, either good or bad,
Can change your life within a second,
You never know what lies ahead
But you think you do, I reckon.

Appreciate things when your life's in sync,
When your world seems bright in deed,
You never know when it will change,
One second....is all it needs
