With each new moment
are new beginnings,
with each heart beat
a spark of anticipation

The brightness of a shining light
unafraid to beam on all
sees the darkness
and makes it bright

The air is cool and still
and the silence surrounds
like a mist
invading every fiber
of being
filling one
with an intense
quiet calm
with the feel of something
yet to come

As with any sunset, don't take your eyes away or you'll miss it.
