~ The Season Has Just Begun ~
It's time for goblins and ghosts again...
It's time for witches to fly!
It's time to go bobbing for apples...
It's time for warm pumpkin pie!
It's time for winds to blow cold and strong...
It's time for shivers and coats,
It's time for chili, and stews, and soups...
It's time for hot Quaker Oats!
I so love this time of year...
When summer is lost to the wind,
When the Fall and Winter come visit me here,
As my fireplace warms me again!
I'm sure before the winter is through,
I'll long for the beach and the sun...
But for now I'll just anticipate
The season that's just begun!
