Softly I wait
for your gentle presence...
to make itself known...
such a loving essence.

Little one, I love you,
tho you've not yet been named,
You're part of my future,
and the world is our game.

I've so much to show you...
this world holds such wonders...
We'll explore it together,
thru seasons of summers.

I'll relive the mysteries
thru your wondering eyes...
We'll name every star,
as we gaze at the sky.

For now I wait softly,
patiently yearning for you,
till we can touch one another,
and discover things brand new.
