~ Why Didn't I Stop and Pray? ~
When my world gets hectic
And there's so much to do,
I know the Lord would help me
If I'd but ask Him to.
Oh, how I sometimes struggle,
Trying to get through just one day.
I get so tired and weary,
Why didn't I stop and pray?
Without holding to His hand,
My life gets such a mess.
I need to trust Him daily,
And feel His tenderness.
There are times that I feel
So lost and all alone.
I loose all my purpose,
Just like a dead telephone.
Times like that, I realize
What had happened to my day.
I had tried to make it on my own,
Why didn't I stop and pray?
