I watched the sun as it slowly arose
On this wonderful brand new day
And I looked at all that God did make
And I thanked Him as I knelt to pray.

I know He made all the stars up above
And He made the sun and the moon
And He made every lovely flower bud
That in the springtime soon will bloom.

And He made all the little critters
And He filled them all with much love
So we would have a faithful companion
When there is nobody for us to have.

And I know that He made some angels
Because I see them in each one of you
If I didn't have you and God in my life
I know my whole world would be blue.
