~ Wishing Will Not Do ~

If I could make one wish today,
And know that it'd come true,
I'd wish that you'd feel good again,
And happy days would follow you.

I'd wish that everywhere you go,
That sunshine would fill your heart,
And that you would know how much you're loved,
And wish we'd never have to part.

So many people love you,
It's not the same when you're away.
We wander around in darkness,
And we don't know what to say.

Since I know that wishing will not do,
I’ll pray to our God above.
And ask Him to make you well again,
With His sunshine and His love.
