~ You Are A Treasure ~
I met you on the internet
You helped my soul within,
How can I tell you or let you know,
You have become a special friend.
You wrote me poems
From your heart,
You kept me going,
So I do not fall apart.
I never had a sister,
As I was growing up,
I had only myself
To keep from falling in the dark.
One day I found a treasure
As I looked at all my computer friends
I was in deep despair,
I needed someone special
A person who would care.
I found a girl who writes poems
And still took an interest in mine,
I am so glad I found her
She is the greatest friend of mine.
Just as there comes a warm sunbeam
into every cottage window,
so comes a love - born of God's care
for every separate need.
