~ You Loved Me Enough ~

 

I bless my mother who gave me life

she is a wonder to behold,

God gave her special love

kindness tenfold.

Mom how can I thank you

for being so strong,

You loved me enough to let me go

In my eyes you did no wrong.

I was given to a mother

who could have none of her own.

The day before thanksgiving

she took me to her home,

I was a beautiful child

I was my mother's very soul,

I loved both of them

I will never let go.
