~ If I Turn Around The Bend ~

If I turn around the bend
Will Jesus be standing there
Will He take me by the hand
Will He tell me how much He cares

If I turn around the bend
Can I look in Jesus eyes
Will He be wearing robes of gold
Can I show Him my whole soul

If I turn around the bend
Will I see Jesus sweet face
Will He smile and tell me I am in His grace
If I look in the sky, will heaven I see
Or does Jesus just want to tell of His love for me

If I turn around the bend
Will Jesus give me wings
Will I be His special angel
To hold and listen to me sing

If I turn around the bend
Will I find peace
If I go with Jesus
Will I get relief

I want to turn around that bend
My heart is holding a key
It is a key to my Jesus
Who is calling me

If you can hear Jesus talking to you,
then you know you are a special gift from Heaven

Hope fills the soul with such
inward joy and consolation, that it can
laugh while tears are in the eye, sigh
and sing all in a breath; it is called
"the rejoicing of hope" (Hebrews 3:6).
