Temperatures rise
Ground breaks with surprise
Among the first
A crocus will burst

Beauty of cheer
Gladness is near
Lavender shade
God’s creation is made

Next lily of the valley
Bells of ballet
Flower of May
Makes the day

Tiny snowdrops appear
Just as fast can disappear
They call early in snow
Early as April they show

Iris is an inspiration
A delightful creation
Velvet to touch
Favorite of the Dutch

Primrose can be cheerful
Although can be fearful
As I can’t live without you
And that makes me blue

Spring awakens our souls
And gives us our goals
Time to refresh and anew
Flowers make their debut

Thankful we are
As we look afar
A glimpse of green
All is so clean

Enjoy Spring Summer is near
Then we’ll give a cheer
Seasons are like a dream
They give us a theme
