The flu bug paid a visit
'n has you feeling blue
think I've got a remedy
here's what you should do

Mix some rest 'n chicken soup
relax those achy bones
wrap yourself in comfort
turn off the telephone

Take aspirin for the headache
let music calm your soul
allow the care of others
help chase away that cold

I'm sending hugs 'n kisses
wrapped in Angel Wings
so soon you'll feel all better
like a 'morn in spring
