I've gotta invent a brand new mood
So I tell you what I'll do
Gonna get on the Internet
And spend some time with you

If you've started out your day
Feeling down and blue
Come on now, sign right in
And let me talk to you

First we'll call on Jesus
And have a talk with Him
Pretty soon the blues will go
And we'll start this day again

Let's chat and chat and do IM
And laugh the blues away
Because you are my dearest friend
We can re-invent this day

Toward the end of the day
Then let us pray again
We'll give thanks to God
Because He invented friends
