~ Good Friends ~

Like a needle in a haystack
Good friends are hard to find
That’s why I am so thankful
I gladly call all of you mine.

I choose to walk friendship’s path
With friends who know me best
Sharing life’s precious moments
Knowing each of us have been blessed.

Life throws us curves and detours
With a few bumps here and there
But we share each other’s burden
And gather close in prayer.

As the days and months go by,
And we’ve known each other longer,
I pray with every passing year
Our friendship will just grow stronger.

Because friends are honest and true
Oh how I thank God for each of you
Each friend’s heart is made of gold
And our friendship will never grow old.
