~ Lifetime Online Friends ~
If it wasn't for my 'puter
Then inky pens I'd have to use
A lot of stamps and envelopes
Or my friend I'd surely lose
I s'pose if a postbox wasn't
close
The telephone I'd ring
But then I'd talk so long
The bill would steal my grin
There's clipped telegrams or
faxes
And parcels, snail slow
Phone's OK, but expensive
If...I catch you home
Guess I could fly, or bus or
train
Somehow, to find a way
To talk to you and stay in
touch
But could we share each day
We just know computer's best
For chatting anytime
To read, send, day or night
And reply as we're inclined
Mmm, how we like the PC way
To view albums, cutest pics
Poems, music, recipes
Enjoying fun 'n quirky tips
Oh yes, we thank our Lord
above
For putting us in touch
He gave this friendship to us
To share eternal love

The Lord in His infinite
wisdom
led us to be, who we are,
what we are and what we've
become,
and because of that, we are,
and always will be friends
forever.
