OLD MAN WINTER
Old Man Winter
Is due to call again
I can hardly wait to hear
The rhythm of the rain
The thunder and the lightning
And the candles' lovely glow
The beautiful, silent wonder
Of the freshly fallen snow
Christmas carols, blinking lights,
The crispness in the air
Rosy cheeks, and sparkling eyes,
and snowmen everywhere
Logs burning in the fireplace
Give warmth and atmosphere
The candles' dancing flicker
Bring a feeling of good cheer
Egg-nog and hot chocolate
While we decorate the tree
This year is extra special
'Cause you are here with me!
