New Year's Eve
is around the corner
I think we'll stay home this year
It's not that we won't celebrate
We'll just hold each other near.
So hubby and I will stay home this year
Watch the ball when it drops on TV
We'll exchange a kiss at midnight
There's no other place we'd rather be.
We'll thank the Lord for the passing year
As we watch revelers scream and shout
Celebrating the incoming year
Spreading so much joy about.
So come on in 2008
Hope you're kinder than the year before
Bring everyone happiness and lots of love
Do that and so much more.
