Today as usual,
you were on my mind
Hovering in my thoughts
Singing in my heart
as you do
So much so, I ought to
tell you now, today...
let you know
I am thinking about you
As I often do

I felt you close, your hat
your book, left
here upon my bench
content to say
all you meant...
then
a pretty little butterfly
came, intent
to stay
