~ Poetry In Flight ~
I'm putting wings to my words
In hopes they will take flight
Soar out into the universe
Bring my feelings into light.
These poems are eager to be read
They reach out to touch you
Hoping to fix what might be wrong
So you'll have a different view.
Touching your heart and your soul
My poetry is taking flight
Seeking out that special someone
A fire in you, it will ignite.
Enrapture you and take you away
'Cause you to fantasize and to dream
Forget about your worries and woes
Make your heart reach out and sing.
Short stories I will tell you
They'll all be in verse form
Events and happenings taking place
A cold heart I hope to warm.
So let my words take you away
To a place that is serene
Develop wings like my words
Change your outlook and routine.
