~ Thunderstorm ~
I sit and watch the storms roll by
As I sit here in my computer chair
The thunder and the lightening
Sometimes gives me quite a scare.
The thunder sometimes crashes loudly
It makes the whole house seem to shake
It rolls and rolls on like a bowling ball
Sometimes it feels like it may be an earthquake.
The lightening brightens up all the sky
Like the fireworks on the 4th of July
The jagged streaks cut through the night
At times it cause me to tremble with such fright.
Oh the thunderstorm with all of it's power
Sometimes brings a chill right up my spine
I sit here and listen to the thunder as it roars
And watch the lightening as it makes the sky shine.
