~ Angel In My Life ~
I
have been blessed with many angels in my life
Being there to comfort me during times of strife
Or just being there when I need a little fun
I want to tell you that you are an important one.
We have shared laughs on many carefree days
You've given me a shoulder for my tears to lay
Been there for me through the good and the bad
Making me happy when I just wanted to be sad.
I know now that God has smiled down on me
If he hadn't, then in my life you would not be
I thank him every night for introducing us
An angel, as a friend like you is worth so much.
