~ Like Angels In My Heart ~

The feelings are enhanced when you appear
My focus becomes fixed only on your presence
All my nerves at once change into high gear
My heartbeat flutters in a way so very pleasant

My soul feels as though it is filled with butterflies
Dancing to the music our heartbeat is making
All around me glows with your beauteous light
Even my drink seems to be far better tasting

Warming the room with your charming smile
Taking in all with such dark exotic eyes
Your splendor and radiance that only you dial
This all happens as mere seconds go by

The flutter in my heart I know now to be
Like angels in my heart, my love is revealed
It is the way your presence takes me
To the land of love's valleys, meadows and fields
