~ Autumn
Leaves ~
The falling
leaves look
like confetti
thrown at a
church
wedding,
They twist,
they turn,
they hover,
they spiral,
they fall,
The shower of
falling leaves
is such a
pretty sight,
Their
beautiful
colors
gracefully
glide with
them all.
The burnt
oranges,
yellow, reds,
and bronze
colored leaves
Cover the
landscape like
a tapestry
carpet
on the ground,
Air currents
blow the
leaves from
the trees,
Then they
glide
gracefully
downward to
the ground
without a
sound.
The falling
Autumn leaves
are such a
beautiful
sight,
Foretelling
that Jack
Frost and Old
Man Winter
will soon
come,
The orange
pumpkins
sitting
silently on
door steps,
All enjoy
watching
Autumn leaves
fall in the
sun.
