I can't promise you forever,
if you don't know the way,
I can't dream about the future,
and all those sweet "some days".

We should start another chapter,
In this book we're learning from,
life's many empty pages,
are here, and then they're gone.

Filled with empty solutions
to so many problem lives,
tried and then forgotten,
so quickly cast aside.

Equations equal nothing,
if there's not two or more,
So here's to all the answers
we've searched so diligently for.
 
Just one more drink of life,
I'll sip it till it's gone.
Then lay me down to dreaming
somewhere between here and home.
