~ A Little Brown Eyed Girl ~

I decided to visit my friend today
I wanted to see that brown eyed girl
She's there every single day of the week
I found out her name is Pearl.

She's something for the eyes to behold
So pretty and graceful is she
I want to give her a great big hug
But I'm sure they won't allow me.

She's all legs, you need to know
But she is still awfully cute
She's such a delight to sit and watch
She really is quite a hoot!

She manages to walk on those spindly legs
And stretch that very long neck
I thought once I would knit her a sweater
Of course it would be a turtle-neck.

I guess you're wondering what I'm talking about
You know Pearl is a baby giraffe
You need to go to the zoo today
It's a menagerie full of laughs!
