No ‘Happy Birthday
Jesus,’
Can be heard on city streets,
Or good will toward all man-kind,
Not one smiling face to greet.
The joy we find at
Christmas,
Should be herald the whole year through.
Why wait until Christ’s birthday,
To proclaim the glorious news?
Let’s have Christmas
in July;
Give gifts of God’s great love,
Sing songs of praise with angels;
And give thanks to heaven above.
Remember a lost loved
one,
Or a friend who needs some cheer,
Celebrate life’s blessings,
With loved ones far and near.
Yes, it’ll be
Christmas in July,
Or, all throughout the year,
If we’ll simply take a moment,
Of each day to Him, draw near.
