~ Christmas
Mailbox ~
Wouldn't the robins
love the mailbox
As a safe retreat
A cozy winter shelter
For a Christmas treat
For now I send you emails
More loving from my heart
So dismiss forever letters
And shoveling down your path
There's no need to fetch your
overcoat
Galoshes or your cap
Stay warm, for cheery notes
Won't even fall upon your mat
Just reminisce about a letterbox
Being filled with Christmas glee
For an email is much faster
To find a hug from me.

Sing a song of gladness and cheer,
for the time of Christmas is here,
look around about and see,
what a world of wonder this can
be.
Sing a song of Christmas Carol,
like the children do,
and enjoy the beauty,
all the joy and beauty,
that the love of Jesus brings to
you.
