For all your daily care,
Your commitment to life's ballad
Always gently there.

I'm glad of how you played each bar
Eternal love to know,
In sharing of your Father love,
A forever theme you've shown.

For that's the very greatest gift
To me, that you could give,
As you cared enough to sing-
That I will ever live.

You whistled me a love song
For every hill I climbed,
I thank God for the special Dad
That always, will be mine.

The only music I will hear today
Is your love, within my heart,

The man of God you are.
