If the miles you walk are tiresome
And the burdens are hard to bear
Pray with fever to our Lord above
Don’t give up, the answer is there

If your day is full of nothing but loneliness
If there is no one to help get you through
Get on bended knee, and bow your head
Don’t give up God is right there with you

When you are pushed to your limits
And you feel you’ve reached the end
Lift your hands to the Lord with excitement
Don’t give up, For an Angel He’ll send

Sometimes life can be disappointing
And most times there are thorns in our trail
If life’s cross is too heavy to carry
Don’t give up, for your ship will soon sail

When you feel your life’s not worth living
And you feel you’re better off not being here
If you will only look to the Father
He will give comfort, and with you be near

Just remember our Lord had his burdens
He prayed, and he wept just as we
And in the end He lost his life
So you and I could forever be free

He freed us from an eternity in darkness
He freed us from being lost in our sin
So when you feel your burdens are many
Don’t give up, just look to Him
