Dreamy Gift ~
If I could search across the world
For the perfect gift of love,
What would I wrap so lovely
Would I ever find enough.
I could climb to pluck the rarest bloom
Preserved for you to keep,
I could mine the choicest valleys
Or find pearls in oceans deep.
Yet, after all my pondering
I realized what would lift your heart,
Not a gift that you could see
But something that would last.
A gift to hold inside your precious soul
The inner spring of you,
A peaceful rest to know
Rich treasure that is true
So my prayer for you today
Is to know the sweetest dreams
To enjoy of every moment
Believing more than what is seen.
For all your dreams to be reality
As in Jesus, that is what they are
All you long to really be
Is not so very far.
God has the wonder all prepared
More than we can ever comprehend,
All I could ever want for you is your dreams
My very dearest friend.
