Cinderella sat quietly in the dusk
With a secret smile upon her face,
But what beauty gave her that inner joy
To know another grace.

What hope lay deep within her heart
For she could not see ahead,
Why such humility all the while
To give her countenance that gentle smile.

Why able to obey without question
At that clock's strike of twelve,
Though not understanding the mystery
Of all tomorrow held.

Could she have held the hope
That her Heavenly Father knew another day,
For though life seemed quietly hallowed now
Tomorrow promised her another way.

Then did that thrill, when mocked to naught
Collapse her into cold despair,
No, nothing stripped her of that blessed hope
A hidden promise was her prayer.

Her heart courageously reached beyond
So when her new birth came,
She was all ready for the miracle
When someone softly called her name.

The time fulfilled, love knocked upon her door,
Her heart ready for her prince to come,
To live with Him forever-more.
Her dream now realized
Of all that she was hoping for.

Since you have... endured patiently,
I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come
upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God.
Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God
and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem,
which is coming down out of heaven from my God;
and I will also write on him my new name.

Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory!
For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.
Fine linen, bright and clean, (purity) was given her to wear."
Then the angel said to me, "Write:
'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!' "
Revelation 3:10-12, 19:6-9
