~ Escape ~
Such warm and balmy air I feel
Flows across the beach each day
White clouds on a crystal blue
etched sky
And the sun sending down its rays.
Palm trees sway to and fro
The sun disappears into the ocean
The tide goes in and out each night
Waves lapping the shore in endless
motion.
Such calmness and serenity envelope
me
As I sit here upon the sand
I watch the sea gulls fly around
And marvel at this wonderful land.
Such beauty to behold every day
Such beauty to behold at night
Watching the sun rise and set
Is such a beautiful sight.
I love this tropical paradise
The ocean, the fauna, the palm trees
But this is not where I reside
I only come here to escape reality.
