~ Failure ~

I am so weak my LORD
I fail YOU everyday
Help me, my precious Savior
I seem to have lost my way.

The trials of my broken life
Have pulled my heart in another way
I was searching everywhere for happiness,
But only finding strife.

Trying to ease my loneliness and pain
To my flesh desire, I have turned again
Hoping for the happiness, it would bring
But finding no joy to make my heart sing.

Leaving only emptiness and shame
Making me feel unworthy
To speak YOUR HOLY NAME.

LORD only You can now set me free
From these chains that bind me.
On YOUR HOLY NAME, I must call
For in no other, will I find hope at all.
Remove the feelings that have me bound
To the right direction, turn me around.

Dear Savior, I want to give my all to you,
YOUR sweet voice in my spirit, I long to hear
Precious Savior, don’t give up on me
To me LORD, please linger near.
Knowing for certain, that YOU will never forsake me
Removes from my soul, all doubt and fear.
