~ A Friend I Keep In My Heart ~

You are a friend I keep in my heart
I never had a friend so loving
Someone so very dear
You send me poems
Which touch my heart with gold
Each word is sent with joy
Such love I can behold

There is no music I can sing to you
No angels that I can hear
Yet when I meet you I will smile
For the beauty you bring me
Through the years

Of sweet happiness I can hold
On Gods' green earth I see
Together we will walk on into heaven
When it is our time to be.
