Going Home
In Memory of Dana Reeve
You will see me in every child
In all those who cannot walk
I promise to be with you always
Whatever shall befall
For I loved a Superman
Who was very kind and true
I stood by him and helped him
With all that I could do
Do not grieve that I've gone home
For my love was waiting for me
He is now a spirit of God
And that is what I want to be
My work will now be done by others
For those who cannot move
I am safely kept in heaven
And God will see you through
I understand the pain and heartache
If you somehow lose your way
In the unknown maze of life
I will hold your hand each day
Look for me in birds that fly
So high in the air
For I and my beloved superman
Will be flying way up there
