~ A Half Moon Hangs ~

A half moon hangs
Nebulously
in a cloud filled sky
while a soft wind sings
thru the trees
pushing clouds
past the stars
Like sequins
on midnight blue
luminous gems
guide my gypsy soul
thru the darkness
I look at the sprawling sky
and feel
insignificant
as a gnat
Heaven, so vast...
me, so small
but I know
I'm loved
all in all
