Hey Mother, it's me,
Happy Mother's Day again,
Not only to my Mother,
But to my very Best Friend.
You've made my life so happy,
With all the love each day.
You have been so understanding,
In each and every way.
I don't know what I did to deserve,
Such a Wonderful Mother like you,
You have been such a blessing,
An Inspiration, in all I do.
So thank you for the little things,
And the advice you often share.
I know how much you love me,
And how much you really care.
I know the Lord in Heaven,
Shined down on me from above.
He sent me a Mother,
With a heart So full of Love.
So Happy Mother's day to you,
My Mother and My Friend,
When I count my blessings,
I'll thank God for you again.
