I went into my pun'kin patch
To pick the best of all
And there I found the sweetest one
Yes, I loaded you aboard

And then I took you home
For where else should you be
But carted back to my place
To live in the heart of me

Now in my heart is where it's at
Thanksgiving, just for you
God knew you'd be the bestest friend
'Cause friendship's what you do
