Sometimes your heart feels broken
By one you thought was true
The heart bruised far too much
And you don't know what to do

You feel like screaming hard
Or sobbing in a heap
The mind goes dark or wants to run
Feeling so deceived

But the hardest of it all
Is, it doesn't go away
Nothing ever changes circumstances
As the pain sears every day

Time still slowly passes by
Crying out in fear
Praying, God please stop the grief
Somehow dry my tears

Show me Your path of light
Give me a grip to hold
Make something of my life again
I'm tired of feeling cold

Please wrap Your arms around me
Make me to smile once more
Restore the joy that comes from You
Oh, how I need You Lord
