~ Heaven ~
I am looking for the city
Where my Jesus lives and reigns
It is somewhere over Jordan
Where there's peace and no more pain
 


I am told in the Holy Bible
That I'm invited to go there
In that beautiful Holy city
The one that's built four square

Angels dwell in this place so grand
There's joy without measure there
Jesus is the light forever
No earthly dwelling can compare!
 


After we have crossed that river
And gone on to heaven's shore
We will live with Him in Glory
For eternity, time will be no more.

Now don't you want to join me
On the way to cross that river
With this sinful world behind us
It'll be peace and joy forever
