~ Heaven’s Littlest Helpers ~
Heaven’s delight, God’s angels are so precious
To our Lord above who they adore, they are gracious
Our Father Almighty loves us so much
He sent angels to Earth
They help watch and guide us starting at our birth
Imagine when Gabriel announced to Mary
Her Immaculate gift which at first was scary
Mary shared her joyous news with her fiancé
Although an angel to him showed the way
Michael appeared in the burning bush to Moses
Most holy of all angels our Bible focuses
Seraphim’s and Cherub’s with virtues and powers
Angels cried at our Lord’s last hours
God created angels to protect heaven and Earth
All men are equal and have valued worth
There are many types of angels in the heavens above
All are aware of God’s great love

In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel
to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin
pledged to be married to a man named Joseph,
a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was
Mary. The angel went to her and said “Greetings,
you who are highly favored. The Lord is with you.
You will be with child and give birth to a son, and
you are to give him the name Jesus.”
