~ Heaven's Roll Call ~

As I journey on, to my home in heaven
Thinking of the souls who need to come
I'm extending invitations, like Jesus did
All are invited, not just some

There's a lot of getting ready, before that time
We must get our preparations just right
There's so many things we tend to cling to
That will have to be put out of sight

The connection's to this sinful world
That's prevented us from blessing's before
Will have to be left behind and forgotten
We'll have no need for them any more

Please, will you journey on with me?
There's only one destination for all
That will be at the portals of heaven
Where we'll hear heavens final roll call

And with all sinful things now behind us
And our life is truly born again
We've had so much joy on the journey
At the roll call, Jesus will welcome us in
