Hello again Mr. Bluebird
I knew you'd be back this year
I heard you calling out to me
With your song so loud and clear

You know I really did miss you
Just like I said I would
I would have left the winter behind
If only I possibly could

But I don't have the freedom
To lift up wings and go
So I kept a cozy fire aflame
During the time of ice and snow

'Tis nice to know we made it
'Til spring came 'round this year
Let's enjoy the season together now
Welcome back little birdie dear

I left your house and feeder intact
So enjoy some time with me
I know you'll like the seeds I bought
I remember the mixture you need
