The time has come, we must part
So empty is my lonely heart
Nothing now to look forward to
Without precious time to spend with you.

To a faraway land, you now must go
To serve the country, we love so
In my every thought, there you will be

So hurry home my love
I will miss you so very much
In your loving arms, I will long to be
In my dreams, I will hold you close to me.

Please everyday, think of me

As we share the moonlight every night
